Inscribe your short until May, 1st.

  • Short films focused on social criticism can be submitted
  • The deadline for submitting them is May 1st

The deadline to submit the films will be May 1st and the finalists selected to be screened during the festival in several venues in the city will be announced in October 3rd.

The short films can be submitted via the festival Website <> or through one of the three short film platforms that can be found in the rules at the festival website. The films, that cannot last over 30 minutes, can be fiction or documentary. A selection committee will choose the finalists, from which the jury will grant an award to the best documentary short and to the best fiction short. In the following months the names of this year’s jury members, who are always related to social activism or the audiovisual world, will be announced. The audience award will be voted by the members of the audience at the screenings of the finalist short films every day during the festival at the different venues around Vic.

The awards for best documentary short and best fiction short comprise a price cash of 1000€ and the audience award is 500€. The 25% of each award will be destined to a non-profit entity or association chosen by the winner. Moreover, the winners will receive a trophy from the festival, a forged iron sculpture by artist Enric Pla Montferrer.
